Graffiti Focus Week is a bi-annual event that sees members of the Community Safety Team and a professional contractor remove graffiti from the across the Safer North Hampshire area. During this week, even graffiti on private property will be removed if the landowner’s permission is received.
This is a highly visible initiative, which impacts greatly on the environment that we live and work in and improves people’s perception of crime and disorder.
There are things you can do to reduce the chance of your property being targeted such as climbing plants on exposed brick walls, hedges planted in front of wooden fences and security lighting. Reporting any graffiti to 101 will all help protect yourself and your neighbours.
