Halloween Streetz for half term

The Halloween Streetz programme will be returning to Basingstoke & Deane for a series of half-term free evening activities for 11 to 17 year olds from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October.

Building on the success of this year’s Summer Streetz programme a range of free evening activity sessions will now be offered in Buckskin, Popley, Sherfield Park, Brighton Hill, Oakridge, Rooksdown, South Ham, Eastrop, Tadley and Bramley, Hatch Warren and Winklebury during half term week.

The open access sessions have been made possible from financial support from Affinity Sutton, Anvil Arts with partnership support from Safer North Hampshire.

The council’s Cabinet Member for Partnerships Cllr Cathy Osselton said: “The October half-term free sessions offer young people in the borough a chance to try out a new activity or continue one that they may have tried during the summer sessions.

“These sessions also continue the great work done by the communities, supported by the council’s community development team, to work with their own young people to plan and run their activity sessions.”
