Crime prevention advice will be available at a roadshow at Morrisons in Farnborough on September 23, from 11am to 1pm.
The roadshow, organised by Hampshire Constabulary and the Safer North Hampshire community safety team, is aimed at raising awareness of measures that can be taken to protect personal safety and will also offers tips on how to keep property safe from criminals. Advice will also be available on preventing crime including rural crime, shed and garage burglaries, and avoiding thefts from cars.
Councillor John Kennett, Chair of Safer North Hampshire, said: “Everyone should take their own security seriously. We will be available to give advice and recommendations so come along to have a chat. If you can’t make it, then feel free to get in touch via any of the contact details below.”
Councillor Ken Muschamp, Rushmoor Borough Council Cabinet member for Safety and Regulation, including community safety, said: “This is an opportunity to learn how to better protect yourself and your belongings, and I encourage as many people as possible to visit the stand, and help us prevent crime in the borough.”
