Residents are being encouraged to have their say at an information event at Hearsey Gardens, in Blackwater on October 28.

The informal event, which will take place in a marquee on The Green between 11am and 2pm, will enable people to have their say about the estate and to find out what is going on in the local community. Games will be provided for children and free food and drink will be available. Residents are invited to talk to representatives from organisations such as Sentinel Housing Association, Vision4Youth, Neighbourhood Watch and Sure Start.

Young people are also encouraged to attend the information event, and Vision4Youth, the local youth organisation, is keen to hear from young people about facilities they would like to have in the area.

Parents of young children will be able to access information from representatives of Waterlilies Sure Start Centre, which runs a variety of activities and classes locally.

The event has been organised by the Safer North Hampshire Community Safety Partnership.
