More than 40 pieces of graffiti were removed from across the Hart and Rushmoor areas during a recent Graffiti Focus campaign by the Safer North Hampshire* community safety team.
The team organises a removal week twice a year to remove graffiti from both public and private property in response to concerns from residents.
Among the graffiti removed this time were tags on railway bridges in Fleet, graffiti on fences in Wellworth Park, Hook, at a number of shops in Farnborough, and various pieces on private properties.
David Lipscombe, Community Safety Projects Team Leader for Safer North Hampshire, said: “Graffiti is not a huge problem in Hart and Rushmoor, and this project helps to make sure that graffiti is removed as quickly as possible, helping to provide a sense of pride and ownership of the places where people live and work.”
In Rushmoor, people can report graffiti to the council on its website, www.rushmoor.gov.uk/graffiti, by emailing its customer services team, customerservices@rushmoor.gov.uk or calling 01252 398399.
In Hart, graffiti can be reported by email to communitysafetyteam@communitysafetynh.org or by calling 01252 774229.
